A Show of Hands
October 17-19 and 24-26

Jewish Community Center of San Francisco
All performances free to the public

This October Janice Garrett and Charles Moulton bring a unique performance event to JCCSF’s Pottruck Family Atrium. With a dazzling combination of dance, music, and imagery, their new work, A Show of Hands, explores touch, gesture, and the expressive capabilities of the human hand. Performed to an original score composed by San Francisco luminary Dan Becker, the piece will feature Garrett + Moulton’s company of dancers and the Bay Area’s newest and most dynamic contemporary string ensemble, Friction Quartet. Exhilarating, tender, and humorous moments of human interaction will unfold against a backdrop of 100 drawings of human hands created by Moulton. Stay tuned for details on these free-to-the-public performances!
